Rental Schedule

Rental rates are dependant upon the day and time rented. Please contact us for a rate at the above link.

Reservations are made with the Mill Valley Events Center's Rental Facilities Coordinator and are made on a first-come-first-served basis secured by payment of the reservation deposit. Reservation books are opened on August first (or the first business day thereafter) for the next calendar year.

Payments/Deposits: $300 reservation deposit. Deposit is non-refundable if reservation is cancelled, but may be transferred to reserve another date if done more than thirty days prior to the initial reservation date, and if the building is available. The Deposit becomes the cleaning and security deposit at the time of the event and is refundable if the building is left in satisfactory condition. Rental balance is due 30 days prior to the event.

Setup/Food/Beverage Services: The Mill Valley Events Center does not provide food or beverage services, set-up or take-down, or equipment beyond tables, chairs, and the use of the kitchen. Place settings are available for an additional fee. Renters may use their own caterer, or choose a caterer from our Caterer's List. Renters may also bring in their own licensed bar tender to serve alcohol.

Possible hours of use: Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Sundays and Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Musical entertainment may be had indoors subject to the City of Mill Valley’s noise-level restrictions: Up to 65 decibels to 9:00 p.m.; 50 decibels thereafter with doors closed. (City of Mill Valley, Municipal Ordinance 899, Section 1.)

Smoking and the use of open flames are not allowed inside the Masonic Events Center or on its property.

Occupancy: Total, maximum building occupancy is restricted to 225 persons; This number is lowered to 150 persons when only the King Solomon's Temple Room is rented.

Parking: Ample street parking is available, or renters may make their own special arrangements with one of several local parking lots and/or valet services.

All rentals are entirely governed by the rental agreement executed between the Mill Valley Masonic Hall Association and the tenant. The foregoing descriptions and specifications are not part of any rental agreement, rules, or terms of tenancy.
