California Masonic Foundation - Grand Lodge F. & A.M

Educational Scholarships: Scholarships to graduating high school seniors planning to attend an accredited two or four year institution of higher learning as a full time undergraduate. Some preference given to applicants with Masonic relationship and/or Masonic Youth Group (DeMolay, Jobs Daughters, Rainbow for Girls) membership. Annual awards range from $500 to $2,500/year and may be renewable upon the student's reapplication with evidence of academic progress and continuing financial need. Deadline: February 28th for new applicants; February 28th for renewing students.

Fund helps active DeMolays who seek a college education and who will be a credit to DeMolay. Academic excellence is not the only criteria to receive the scholarship. Scholarship if for $2,000 for one year, renewable for a lesser amount under some circumstances. Deadline: May 1st.

International Order of Job's Daughters

State of California Educational and Scholarship Award: Fund assists active or majority members of a Bethel of Job's Daughters in the State of California. Applicant with highest score will be awarded the Elise Bonneville Daskam Memorial Scholarship; second highest scoring applicant is awarded the Harold Aggesen Grand Bethel Memorial Scholarship. Many other scholarships of lesser amounts are awarded as funds are available. Deadline: Postmarked no later than April 1st.

International Order of Job's Daughters

State of California Educational and Scholarship Loan Fund: Loans are made up to $750 for tuition, books, car fare, or room and board and first installment toward repayment must begin five years from the date of the note or 120 days after applicant after applicant completes her training and/or schooling, whichever date occurs first. Deadline: Applications will not be accepted less than sixty days or more than four months prior to the date the loan is desired.

Nancy Bronston Memorial Scholarship: Awards $1,000 annually for as many years as the funds are available from the Bronston family. Applicant must be a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls in California, including majority members. Deadline: March 1st.

International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, Grand Assembly of California

Rainbow Scholarship Fund: Assists a Rainbow Girl, in good standing, to enter a recognized college of her own choosing by providing non-renewable awards in the amount of $500. It is for active members entering college for the first time. A supplementary scholarship, the Beverly Sanders Memorial Scholarship may award grants from $100 to $250 dollars to the recipient of the Rainbow Scholarship without separate application. Deadline: March 1st.

Christian Ministry Scholarship Fund: Assists in filling vacant Protestant Pulpits existing in the United States by awarding twenty $1,500 scholarships to students attending either the American Baptist Seminary of the West, Church Divinity School of the Pacific, Pacific School of Religion, San Francisco Theological Seminary or the School of Theology at Claremont. Educational Loan Fund: Provides a maximum loan of up to $2,500, repayable in quarterly installments over a four year period after graduation to full time students enrolled in their Junior and/or Senior year in an accredited College or University. Supreme Council of the Thirty-Third Degree, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry

Leadership Scholarship Program: Program awards two $12,000 scholarships annually to individuals possessing an A M.A. or M.S. degree who are in mid-career and are working to secure a Doctor's Degree in Public School Administration based on evidence that without the financial assistance provided by the Scholarship, the individual would not be able to pursue further graduate studies. Northern California Scholarship Foundation

Education Scholarships (The Scaife Foundation; The Helen Wegman Pannelee Educational Foundation; The Herbert Frank and Bertha Maude Laird Memorial Foundation): Each Scholarship grant is awarded for four years and pays $400 per month for ten months of the college year; candidates attending Junior College and living at home may receive $200 per month until they transferto a four year college. Sacramento Scottish Rite Bodies

Charles M. Goethe Memorial Scholarship: Renewable awards ranging from $350 to $1,700 per year to students who are members or Senior Members of the Order of DeMolay or sons and daughters of a member or deceased member of a constitutent Masonic Lodge of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of California who are enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing any academic major. The Wolcott Foundation - High Twelve International

Educational Scholarship: Provides tuition and other assistance to qualified students for a maximum of 36 semesters of graduate study at The George Washington University School of Government and Business Administration, or the Elliot School of International Affairs with the purpose of preparing young men and women of good character, who have an appreciation for honesty and good government, for a career in government service or international business at the federal, state or local levels.
